Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince marks a triumphant return to the series' beloved 2.5D roots after the experimental third entry. The beloved trio of Amadeus the Wizard, Pontius the Knight, and Zoya the Thief reunite to pursue Prince Selius, a young royal whose uncontrolled nightmares are escaping into the waking world and threatening the realm.
The game represents the pinnacle of the Trine formula — lush, hand-painted environments teeming with wonder, physics-based puzzles with no single correct solution, and seamless drop-in/drop-out co-op for up to four players. Each hero's unique toolkit encourages creative synergies: conjure boxes and bridges, charge through obstacles with a shield, or swing across chasms on a grappling hook.
With fully scalable difficulty, including an Unlimited Mode where magical solutions have no restrictions, Trine 4 welcomes both series veterans and first-time adventurers into one of gaming's most visually stunning worlds.
