After we released the editor for Trine Enchanted Edition and Trine 2: Complete Story a while ago, we’ve been seeing a lot of great community made maps on the Steam Workshop, which is awesome!

All the maps so far are on the Trine 2 Workshop, and there’s a total of 10 maps that have been made public.

We’ve played through almost all of them and I have to give a thumbs up to everyone who’s creating maps – they’re all great new experiences to play through. It seems that a lot of the user-generated maps are very challenging, and it really takes a lot of trial and error to get through some of them, so there’s several hours worth of gameplay in these maps alone 🙂

To highlight some of our moments playing the custom maps, we made a short trailer about them:

If you can’t wait to get your hands on these, go ahead and subscribe to the user-generated maps on the Trine 2 Workshop. For instructions on how to enable custom maps, or “mods”, take a look at our Wiki articles:

1. How to download other User’s MODs

2. How to enable a MOD.

Also, if you’re already a modder and creating maps, please share your knowledge and tips on the Wiki to help others create as well. And if you’re trying to get something to work but can’t quite figure it out, you can always get in touch with us and we’ll try to help 🙂
