We have once more patched the game on Nintendo Switch (now version 1.0.2.). Log for some of the changes below:
– A few changes to save slot menu
– Fixed an issue with Everbloom that caused the game to crash
– Fixed some dialog lines not playing properly
– Fixed an issue when players could get disconnected when loading into Astral Academy
– Various battle config fixes in the last few levels (in some cases the battle would not trigger or enemies could spawn off the battle-area)
– New Icon
– Support for video capture enabled

Are there more detailed patch notes anywhere? I’ve seen some that don’t seem to be documented anywhere:
– some starting spells were swapped out
– some spells have less charges (Huge Fireball, Frost Cloud reduced from 3 charges to 2)
– some skills have been modified (Gislan’s “Field Work” and “Cunning”, Owl’s “Burst to Flight”, Amadeus’ “Dashing Hero”)
The one that sticks out most to me so far is the nerf to Gilded Carabel: With Frost Cloud + Ice Bullets as starting spells and “Flash Freezing” + 2x “Bitter Cold”, she had the ability to cast 8 AoE ice spells in a row (5x Frost Cloud + 3x Ice Bullets). This has now been reduced to 3 AoEs in a row, with 5 -> 3 charges on Frost Cloud and no two AoEs in any of her starting spell sets.
Unfortunately there isn’t a more detailed version of the notes anywhere, too many or too small tweaks and tricks to list. 🙂 But I’ll look into it, and try to gather a bit more info.

When will the save slots update come to PS4?
I love the game and so does my friends, but it gets a bit tedious to start over every time I switch which group of friends I play with.

Ahh!! I love the update!
Connecting controllers is MUCH easier now (even Gamecube controllers can work now!). I love how all the characters now wander around on the main menu, all the tips and hints have icons, and unlocking tiers in skill trees has a neat, shiny animation. The additional gameplay options, such as beam lock-on and projectile homing is also welcome addition!
I was pleasantly surprised to hear that additional dialog at one of the boss fights, and also to see there was a whole little starting area added onto the coliseum boss fight, so that was super fun!
Amadeus’ Box of Infinite Power was fun while it lasted, but I’m glad that was fixed. (If you had Box of Benevolence skill, you could keep throwing a box and picking it back up to keep adding additional auras to it, letting you do ridiculous damage. Super fun against bosses.) I miss the little exploded pieces of the box that would lie around the battlefield, but I understand why it was removed.
I look forward to playing through the rest of the game and seeing what other tweaks were made.

What I like the most (so far) is that a person can join the game…. and actually PLAY Once they get resurrected. People have just been Literally Popping up out of nowhere and walking with the group as if they were already there.
These updates were very much so needed..wish it was Sooner, but it’s better late then Never.
Oh, and whats also great is unlocking Gilded Gislan now. BEFORE THE Patch it was nearly impossible …nearly the hardest thing to EVER Do in this game…..now it’s Extremely easy in comparison.
I hope the patches don’t stop here and that this game continues to grow/evolve.

On the Stage “Battle Arena” (The boss battle where you fight the different elemental Hogs ) Well… The Camera is a problem.
Once All the players are on the platform that descends down…the Camera doesn’t “FOLLOW” the group…making Everyone go “Off Screen”…which in turn Kills everybody within 5 Seconds (((Except for Maybe 1 player Sometimes))).
This puts everybody at a disadvantage, especially on Hardcore mode because the “Last chance” is Used.
**OR** a skill that auto resurrects somebody is used when it shouldn’t be.
Can you guys look into it?

Also we’re really sorry that this happened, but we’ll try to replicate at the office and to look for possible fixes. We however haven’t heard of ther reports from the current version of the game, so I can’t really promise anything.

I’m really enjoying Nine Parchments on PS4 except for two pretty big issues…..
1: I somehow keep brushing the touchpad with my thumb which instantly kills/removes me from the game. Like, three or four times an hour this happens, at least. Can you please patch this to be toggleable or remapped to another button?
2: I read on the Steam forums you were considering making an option to turn Friendly Fire off. PLEASE add that option. If you like it the way it is, great. If not, you can choose to turn it off.
Other than that, the game is nice. Looks really good too.

I spend a lot of time to unlock all the roles.
But when I unlock all roles, all local saving data just gone after a online battle.
All roles and data come to ZERO in no sign.
There is a very serious fault in the game’s save system.

I’ve just wanted to make a suggestion about Joycon control in 2 players mode.
Right now the controls are pretty bad, the 4 buttons on the right work as an analog stick so you can have only 8 directions for aiming.
What about use something like the R button to lock your position so you can use the left analog stick as the aiming stick?
I’ve played only the DEMO version, but I would definitely buy it if something like this is implemented to play with my sister 😉
I’m forwarding this ahead, but unfortunately it’s very unlikely we’ll implement this as later level basically require you to move all the time. However you could consider getting another contoller, but yes sadly no fixes. Still thanks for the suggestion!

I am 1 of the people of this world that has been looking forward to this game for a very long LONG time. And despite my history with this game ( My data getting randomly deleted Twice after HOURS and HOURS in it, with everything Unlocked…………. )
I still play this game, and have put in 575 hours in the game so far.
Lol, and…until super smash bros. for the Switch comes out…I’ll be playing this game (Helping people who don’t know any better) till then.
**The glitch that keeps the Camera from scrolling Down on the “Hog Market Boss” is still an issue. This causes everybody to DIE, thus losing a last chance (Usually 1 person survives though, but not all the time)- regardless, that’s not fair.
There are other issues, but I suppose at this point in time it doesn’t exactly matter.
What are you guys working on now?
First of all, congrats! i really love nice parchments. Me and my friends have enjoyed playing it. However, i’m missing a nine parchments 2. You absolutely should. It’s a great play. I love the escenarios, the chararters, etc.
