“You are all disqualified.”
– Professor Butternut
Professor Butternut is the teacher in charge of the class of students hunting for the Nine Parchments. He has not been pleased with all his apprentices rushing off into the wilderness after the missing spells, and plans on remedying all absences with punishing new classes.
Professor Butternut’s Thoughts on Summer Holidays
The students have returned from their dubious little trek to recover the missing spell parchments, which went missing after Anastasia blew up a wall in the library. It was my impression that our young apprentices were not happy to deliver the spells back to my care, and would have rather kept them for themselves.
I have a growing, although perhaps unfounded suspicion that the students might have even been so conniving that they would have attempted to seal the spells to their spellbooks without permission! Luckily the enraged Lich confused them so much, they barely noticed it when I stepped in and gracefully collected the missing parchments from them in one swell swoop.
All of our young troublemakers are now itching to leave the Astral Academy for their summer holidays, but I believe they have missed too many classes to go on holiday just yet, which is why I have devised some new hands-on studies they’ll have to partake in to make up for their absence. I’ll even allow the students to borrow some of the spells from the Astral Library while they attempt to complete their final classes.
(Also Amadeus seems to be loitering about the Academy again, perhaps we should be making some kind of contingency plan in case his mystical powers attract another terrible disaster like the last time.)

Really Butternut! summer classes… you cruel cruel man.
There are villains, and then there is Professor Butternut.
Ooh. Hype arises. 🙂 By the way – two things.
First: ever thought about adding PvP Mode to 9P?
Second: I think I was supposed to remind you about my question towards your fellow writer a couple of… months ago. It was about backstory of Amadeus incapability to conjure a fireball… or any other fire spell.
Hype for – what can it beeee~?
I’ll pass on the PvP question (although I seem to recall that direct PvP battle was not a feature being looked into) and go on to option number B.
Amadeus doesn’t know any fire spells because he has been gifted with an innate, special, magnificent, amazing talent already – the transcendental power of conjuring boxes.
It’s like a thing how some people are born left-handed or with blue eyes. And all our innate talents are truly to be treasured.
In my humble opinion, boxes are a much more powerful weapon in the hands of the right wizard, or the wrong one I should say.
I’ve also got a few questions, will we be meeting any other teachers? I somehow feel that Elaine Whitewood is a McGonagall-like character. And another one, who taught Amadeus the art of conjuring boxes? We haven’t seen anyone other than him wielding a mighty box.
Thanks for your time. 🙂
Well, we are in agreement about boxes being amazing.
Happy to answer questions too! We won’t be meeting Academy staff in person, but there are some developments in that department. A development, anyway.
As for who taught Amadeus how to conjure boxes? Maybe some day we’ll get to tell a little story about that!
Thank you for your questions, they’re fun to answer 🙂
So it’s a genetic trade… Fire for physical…
I like how you guys Didn’t answer my question, ” what are y’all working on now ?”
Yeah, ya got me there.
So..what is this… a new game mode or something! New difficulty? Don’t get me Excited now! I put too many hours in this as is.
What is coming up? We shall see!
Aight then. I shall wait…I’ll put even more hours into this game…more hours then anybody else Has.
I wonder… Are The Plank and The Flying Platform two Parchments that Amadeus lost or maybe they are alongside The Box somewhat of an extension of The Conjuration Spell?
I was wondering if you were planning on adding anymore content to the game. I would happily throw my money at you for more.
We are planning on adding new content to the game. Quite soon in fact.
Lol, WOW…just WOW.
Loving the new character……. Yus…I think he’ll be my main. I got people wondering how I’m playing with him! ha haaaa.
It was a CHORE to get to him though…GRR, y’all down bad for those “Stages!” :p
** Wait, how can I rearrange my spells?
I love the ability to communicate better, That was SO NEEDED…but how can I put my spells the way I want them?
Hi! Glad you like the new communication. Remember that the D-Pad Quick Chat lines depend on which mood you choose for your character.
Also, you can still rearrange the spells, we moved that option into the menu. Let us know if you need help with anything!
Well I did say soon!
Glad to hear you like him. Got all the variations and skill trees open too?
I have 3 of them unlocked…. I’m highly assuming I’ll have to beat those…. “Arena like battles” to unlocked the Gilded version. It’s a challenge well accepted.
But only Pro’s who knows what they are doing can only even get THAT Far. Playing this portion of the game by myself was Nuts, I can’t possibly imagine playing with 4 others.
I got as far as beating the Ice/Cave battle Arena stage. I was too mentally tired to go even Further, lol.
I am impressed….. all of wanted from you guys when it came to this game, y’all have fulfilled.
Now I can sit back and let my shadow puppies kill everything. ^__^.
How soon do the other apprentices get to attend these new classes? I have the sudden urge to learn new spells. 😛
I’m so sorry we Steam users have to wait a little longer. Once It’s Done, I’m sure there’ll be a big, if figurative, show and dance in the Interwebs near you.
I see… well until then I shall wait and prepare myself for the new adventures.
