Hello everyone! With less than two months remaining of 2019, many of you have been rightfully asking what our current plans with Early Access and the Closed Alpha are as well as the schedule regarding them. Even though we’ve made a lot of progress during the months after the announcement, we’ve not been able to start outside testing as early as we predicted. Week 45 (04.11. – 08.11.2019) Here are the progress notes of week 45: Design Features Player damage (when colliding) with ships tweaked: players receive damage when colliding with objects at high speeds. New values adjusted for player taking damage when being hit by objects. New mock-up of main CV profile page worked on. Week 44 (28.10. – 01.11.2019) Here are the progress notes of week 44: Design Features Instancing tested on ship spawn locations (docks and landing pads). Grabbing Tool’s throw mechanism tested and tweaked. Mining laser now takes the armor of plates into account when trying to cut through them (strong armor plates take longer to cut through). Economy configuration fixes and updates. Missing locales added to the Ship Creator. New battery modular plugs tested. A new Starbase video has been released. This video shows the smallest ship, the Vasama, being disassembled in reverse to show what kind of a structure and what parts the ship needs to work.
